What can I say, this hotel is excellent!! The atmosphere and the comfort are amazing. The rooms are super comfortable and spacious. Only wish that the shower had a sliding door to keep the draft out. But everything else was perfect. I even loved that the TV would rise out of the footboard. Very easy to get around, by taking bus 43 which is a minute walk away or a quick 5-7min walk over the bridge to catch a Tram. Don’t get a cab since it’ll cost around €25-35 to get into the center of town which is 2-3km away. The Cafe Jkrt has amazing food, and the breakfast was divine. At 5pm the bar at the 8th floor would open up and you can catch the sunset while having cocktails. Loved this hotel, and can’t wait to stay here again.

The whole hotel was fantastic, we splashed out and got a suite as it was our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The room was just perfect with the most perfect view especially of the sunset, bed was lovely, everything about the room was perfect and clean. Was an added bonus having a mini fridge in the room and we were also left a bottle of prosecco on arrival. Breakfast was delicious and so was the dinner which we had on the first night due to arriving late due to a cancelled flight. Staff were super helpful and hotel was extremely clean throughout. Location for us was perfect as could reach all parts of Amsterdam via Bus / Tram / Taxi / Bike or Ferry... what more could you want?

I really like everything, the rooms are big enough, with a balcony, and the huge plants in the hall that make you feel like you are in the forest. The multiple facilities really help to treat and pamper yourself, from the spa, the swimming pool and the gym. I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to extend my stay for an extra night, but unfortunately, I didn’t; being during the weekend, they didn’t have my room available for the extra night; therefore, I had to relocate to a different room and was slightly pricier than I expected.

The hotel is lovely although the views were not very good but what can I say, it is in the middle of a city. I received welcoming WhatsApps which even gave me directions on how to get there from Amsterdam Centraal, this was invaluable. Everything about my stay was great, breakfast was pleasantly edible, staff polite and attentive. Rooms clean and comfortable. It was a n exploring break so we did not spend a lot of time in the hotel To top it off we decided to finish our minibreak with relaxing massages -they were perfect.

Hotel Jakarta is one of the most beautiful hotels we’ve stayed in, every detail is a stunning adventure throughout a jungle inspired dream! Delicious breakfast, wonderful room service options & a fabulous bakery on site also. The staff made me feel extra special on my birthday, offering complimentary champagne at breakfast which was lovely. The view from the rooms are exceptional, we had a river view suite and it was perfect. Great location & really can’t recommend this hotel enough!
